Day two of the garage sale was much, much better! we made about $60-70! so that's pretty cool!
we are on a street with nothing but OLD people & no one else was having a yardsale on our street. next year we're doing it at josh's house! collectively everyone there made around $500 yesterday AND today! WTF??? this yardsale town event is crazy!!!
doug (i guy i know thru joaquin & lori, whom i am pretty sure i have only met ONCE in 1998!) drove all the way from dayton to buy some art! i gave him a print for free too cos that's crazy he drove all that way! jamie sold two lawn mowers & 2 guitars. he sold the guitars to this kid named dylan that i kinda know thru the magic of the internet! i remember him as a kid that would sit beside me at the library in 2004 & play role playing games on the computer until his dad came & picked him up....but we've been online friends on FB,myspace & LJ since 2005. so i recognized him! i'm like "don't i know you?from facebook?" He's like "maybe, i know a lot of people from there." i go "are you dylan?" he said yeah , i said "i'm jolie!" so he knew who i was :)
then he proceeded to buy 2 guitars from my husband & may be back for some gameboy games or something! so hell yeah...we had a pretty good day considering it's hotter than HELL out there!!! arg...
